Current Dance Classes (for all classes, instructor is choreographer and master teacher Rick Heiman unless otherwise indicated) New Contemporary Dance classes are in the works for Riverside / San Bernardino area and in Hollywood, California. Classes consists of a thorough floor barre workout with movement, strength and flexibility training drawn from ballet, modern, jazz and world dance, yoga and pilates, followed by a progression to standing dance exercises, mixed level movement combinations across the floor, and choreography. The style is Limon/Horton based, with an emphasis on flow, musicality and moving with power. Dancers for future performance projects may be recruited from classes. Private dance lessons and coaching are also available. Rick also teaches musical theater and jazz dance classes.
